Agnes "Billie" Ambry, nee Vallow, age 88, lifelong resident of Shiloh, born July 15, 1922, passed away Tuesday morning, July 20, 2010 at St. Elizabeth's Hospital, Belleville.

She was preceded in death by her parents Harchel and Clara, nee Braun, Vallow; and daughter Sue Lynn Mitchell; sister and brother-in-law Margaret and Robert Conboy; and brother and sister-in-law Howard and Mamie Vallow.

She is survived by her husband, Oscar Ambry of Shiloh; two sons, David (Doris) Ambry of Shiloh, and Dennis (Cathy) Ambry of St. Peters, Mo.

Also surviving are grandchildren Shannon (Tim) Barton, Denise (Matthew) Biekert, Michael (Cindy) Ambry, Jay Ambry, Danielle Ambry, Steve (Kate) Holley; great-grandchildren Justin Ambry, Andrew Biekert, Adam Biekert, Tanner Ambry, Zeke Bielby, Alex Ambry, Jessica Barton, Shelby Ambry, Josh Holley, and Caitlin Holley; and her dear friend Peggy Ambry.

Memorials in honor of Mrs. Ambry may be made to Shiloh United Methodist Church.

Visitation: Friends may call from 9:00 – 11:00 am, Saturday, July 24, 2010 at Wolfersberger Funeral Home, 102 W. Washington St., O'Fallon.

Funeral Service: 11:00 am, Saturday, July 24, 2010 at the funeral home. Reverend Dr. Beverly Wilkes-Null, Pastor of Shiloh United Methodist Church, will officiate.

Burial will follow at Shiloh Valley Township Cemetery, Shiloh, Ill.
