Mrs. Alice Elms, age 86, of O'Fallon, Illinois, passed away Monday, October 3, 2005, at The Lincoln Home in Belleville, IL.
Mary Alice was born June 14, 1919 in Sparta, Illinois. She was employed as a bottle inspector for Obernester Glass Company, E. St. Louis for many years, and later at Steak 'n Shake and Venture.
She is survived by her son, Benjamin Elms, Jr. of Las Vegas, NV, daughters Shirley Alvey of O'Fallon and Nelma (Kenneth) Edson of Collinsville, and daughter-in-law, Fern Williamson of Belleville; three sisters "Bert" Klausing, Nita Gerlach, and Liz Kligman; Grandchildren Rhonda Crockett, Ronald (Terri) Alvey, Steven (Connie) Alvey, Patricia Elms, and Michael Alvey; Great-grandchildren Kara Renollet, Kasey and Kourtney Crockett, Nichole and Natalie Alvey, Brittany, Bridgette, Beverlee, and Brooke Alvey; great-great granddaughter Makennah Crockett. She was preceded in death by her husband Benjamin Elms and her son-in-law, Ronald Alvey.

Visitation: 5:00 to 8:00 pm, Tuesday, October 4, 2005 at Wolfersberger Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: 11:00 am, Wednesday, October 5, 2005 at Wolfersberger Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Paul Sellers of O'Fallon First United Methodist Church officiating.
Interment: O'Fallon City Cemetery, O'Fallon, IL.
