Obituary
Amy Dee Cox, age 34, of O'Fallon, born August 18, 1978 in Belleville, died unexpectedly at her home on Wednesday, October 24, 2012.
Growing up in Belleville, Amy had a loving heart and she has always loved animals. She was a loyal Chicago Cubs fan and was dearly loved by her family.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Robert Elliott, and Raymond and Maudie Cox.
Surviving are her parents Jimmy Ray and Lorna Marie, nee Elliott, Cox, of O'Fallon; grandmother Delores Elliott; uncle and godfather Russell Elliott of O'Fallon, aunt Laura (John) Sarafa of Eden Prairie, Minn., nephews Benedict and Joseph Sarafa; and her godmother, Connie (Paul) Garrett of O'Fallon; and many cousins and extended family members.
Donations are suggested to Spencer Pet Rescue and will be accepted at the funeral home.
Visitation: Friends may call from 4:00 – 8:00 pm, Sunday, October 28, 2012 at the funeral home.
Funeral: 11:00 am, Monday, October 29, 2012, at the funeral home, with Rev. William J. Hitpas officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Shiloh.
