Annalee Caito, age 90, of Fairview Heights, Ill., born September 21, 1923, passed away on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at Cedar Ridge Nursing Home in Lebanon, Ill.

Annalee was a long-time member of St. Albert the Great Catholic Church in Fairview Heights. She was employed at Salvage and Bridges Insurance Co. in Belleville for many years.

She was preceded in death by her parents Roy and Mary Farrow, her loving and devoted husband Charlie, her son-in -law Richard Smith, six brothers and their wives, and two sisters and their husbands.

Surviving are her two daughters, Marina Smith of Roseville, Calif., Marylaine (Tom) Donnell of O'Fallon; grandchildren Tommy (Shannon Stephens) Reinhardt of O'Fallon, Brian (Lt. Col. Nicole) Reinhardt of Lorton, Va., Bart Donnell of O'Fallon, Ill., and Kim (Kent Roderick) Donnell of Bismark, Ill; eight great-grandsons; and many loving nieces and nephews including Barb Bizenberger of Trenton, Ill., Jeanne Boisseau, of Edwardsville, Ill, and her very special friend, Elaine "Evie" Gantner of Belleville, Ill.

Many thanks to the staff of Cedar Ridge Nursing Home for the excellent care she received at her home away from home for the past 10 years.

Annalee loved to walk the hills of The Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows in Belleville while on her lunch hour. Any donations to them in her name would be greatly appreciated.

Both Charlie and Annalee unselfishly donated their bodies to Saint Louis University School of Medicine for research. A Memorial Mass will be offered in her memory.
