Obituary

Aubrey Eugene Marsters, Jr., age 64, born on December 8, 1955 in Washington D.C., to Aubrey E. Marsters and Pauline E., nee Cary, Marsters. Aubrey passed away at his home, on Wednesday, January 29, 2020.

Aubrey grew up as a "military brat" and joined the Air Force at the age of 17. He was stationed at Travis AFB, California shortly after his sister, also in the Air Force, was stationed at McClellan AFB, Calif. Aubrey's favorite place of military service was at Ramstein AB in Germany. After servicing in the Air Force, he began his 20+ year-career for the Department of Defense at Scott AFB, Ill., where he was well-liked by his peers. Aubrey loved to read and travel. When he was stationed in Germany, he and his friends visited most of the castles around Europe. He even had received an autographed picture from Paula Abdul from when she was in Washington. Though he never received a formal degree, he loved to learn and took several college courses.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his half-brother Travis and half-sister Brenda.

Surviving is his sister Pauline.

Memorial donations are suggested to the family to assist his sister with funeral costs. Online condolences may be shared and financial contributions may be processed at www.wfh-ofallon.com .
