Barbara Jean Boos, nee Rueger, age 90, of O'Fallon, formerly of Detroit, Mich., born June 30, 1925 in Detroit, Mich., died Sunday afternoon, October 18, 2015 at Heritage at The Colonnade, O'Fallon, Ill.

Mrs. Boos was a petite and feisty great-grandmother. In her younger years, she was very active with boating and snowmobiling. She loved her family dearly and truly grieved for her husband, Raymond, after his death in 2007.

She was preceded in death by her parents John Frederick Rueger and Clara Louise, nee Kaiser, Rueger; her husband Raymond Sylvester Boos, her son Raymond J. Boos., and her sister Margaret Rueger-Heidman.

Surviving are her three daughters Shirley Ann Suski of Lebanon, Ill., Barbara Jean Beatty of Battle Creek, Mich., and Margaret Mary Boos of Seattle, Wash.; her much loved 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.

If so desired, memorial donations are suggested to St. Clare Catholic Church, American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, or Alzheimer's Association.

Funeral: A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Noon, Monday, October 26, 2015 at St. Clare Catholic Church, 1411 Cross St., Shiloh, with Rev. James Deiters presiding. Interment will be at a later date in Battle Creek, Michigan.

Cremation services were provided by Wolfersberger Funeral Home, O'Fallon, Illinois
