Obituary

Age 89, of Lebanon, born July 30, 1918 in O'Fallon, Ill., passed away Monday, December 24, 2007 in her home. Mrs. Loyet was a member of the St. Clair County Farm Bureau and was a parishioner at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, O'Fallon and worked on the farm with her husband and sons.

Mrs. Loyet was preceded in death by her husband Earl Leonard Loyet, whom she married February 1, 1940; and who passed away March 12, 2001; and her parents, Louis M. and Bertha B. (nee Benedick) Hohrein.

She is survived by her three sons, Dale (Joyce) Loyet of Lebanon, Wayne (Julie) Loyet of O'Fallon, and Gary (Janice) Loyet of Lebanon; grandchildren Valarie Smith of Bonne Terre, Mo.; Sara Parmeley of Belleville; Aaron Loyet of O'Fallon; Carolyn Doner of Belleville; and Ben and Dan Loyet of Lebanon. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren, Gary, Gabrial, Morgan, and Madison Smith; Landon Parmeley, and Robyn Doner.

Memorial Donations in honor of Mrs. Loyet are requested to Ronald McDonald House, 3450 Park Ave, St. Louis, MO 63104, and will be accepted at the funeral home.

Visitation: Friends may call 9:00 – 11:00 am, Thursday, December 27, 2007 at Wolfersberger Funeral Home.

Funeral Service: 11:00 am, Thursday, December 27, 2007, Wolfersberger Funeral Home Chapel, with Msgr. William Hitpas officiating.

Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Shiloh, Ill.
