Beth Ann Higgins, nee Nelson, age 56, of Fairview Heights, Ill., born December 9, 1960 in Belleville, Ill., died Wednesday, March 22, 2017.

Beth graduated from Belleville East High School in 1978 and married Keevin Higgins July 21, 1979. She was employed as a cashier at Wal-Mart in Belleville. Beth was a devoted wife and mother, and was a loving caregiver to all of her family, especially her parents and father-in-law. She was "MaMa Beth" to her three grandbabies, whom she adored and loved spending time with.

Surviving are her husband Keevin of Fairview Heights; her daughters Kristina Dallas of Swansea; Kayla (John) Welge of Fairview Heights; her mother Aletha, nee Braun, Nelson of Fairview Heights; grandchildren Teagan and Tatum Dallas, and Joni Beth Welge; sister Diane (David) Trimble of Shiloh; niece Stephanie (Warren) Cole, and nephew Stephen (Michelle) Trimble.

She was preceded in death by her father Clifford Nelson.

In lieu of flowers and other gifts, memorial donations are requested to the family, to be used to purchase a memorial bench in memory of Beth. Contributions may be mailed to the Higgins Family, c/o Wolfersberger Funeral Home, 102 W. Washington, O'Fallon, IL 62269.

Funeral: A private family service will be held at Walnut Hill Cemetery, Belleville, Ill.
