Betty M. Atwood, nee Bailey, age 65, of Collinsville, Ill., born July 6, 1951 in Granite City, Illinois, passed away November 3, 2016 at Anderson Hospital, Maryville, Ill.

Betty was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and her faith was very important to her. She had worked for many years as a cook and server in the family's restaurant. She cared greatly for her nieces and nephews and especially enjoyed being with the little children and babies.

She was preceded in death by her husband Joe Bell; her brothers Willie and Carroll Bailey; and her parents Willie and Betty, nee Pate, Bailey.

Surviving are her siblings Doris Crets, Johnny Bailey, Mary Richards, Christine Brown, James Bailey, Gary Bailey, Wayne Bailey, David Bailey; her nieces and nephews, Tina, Barbara, Steven, Aaron, Tina, Kathy, Carol, David, Johnny, Sherri, Laura, Joe, John, Brian, Spencer, Crystal, Desiree, Tasha, Elisha, Sean, James, Jr., Benjamin, Devin, Christopher, Wyatt, Zachary, Hailey, and Leandra; and many great nieces and great nephews.

Memorial donations are suggested to HIS KIDS Cancer Support, located in Highland, Illinois, and will be accepted at the funeral home.

Visitation: Friends may visit from 10:00 am – Noon, Friday, November 11, 2016 at Wolfersberger Funeral Home, O'Fallon, Ill.

Funeral: Funeral Service will begin at Noon, Friday, November 11, 2016 at the funeral home, with Pastor David Denton and Bishop Jim Holbrook officiating. Burial will follow at St. John's Old Cemetery, Granite City, Ill.
