Beulah Leek, age 93, born July 18, 1917 in Meta., Mo., the oldest of four children, passed away Wednesday evening, August 25, 2010, at Cedar Ridge Health and Rehabilitation Center, Lebanon.

Mrs. Leek was a laborer in a purse factory in downtown St. Louis many years ago. She was one of the original residents at the O'Fallon Apartments, where she lived for the past 26 years. Beulah was a loving mother to her only daughter, Pat.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Leek; her parents William and Grace, nee Lawson, Barnhart, a grandson David Bussone, two brothers, and one sister.

Memorial Donations in memory of Mrs. Leek may be made to Heartland Hospice, 333 Salem Place, Fairview Heights, IL 62208 or to Cedar Ridge Health and Rehabilitation Center, One Perryman Road, Lebanon, IL 62254. Mrs. Leek's family is very grateful for the loving and dedicated care she received from Heartland Hospice and Cedar Ridge.

She is survived by her daughter Pat (Jim) Bussone of O'Fallon, grandson Doug Bussone of Manhattan, NY; other extended family members and her friends at the O'Fallon Apartments.
