Obituary
Beverly Jean Plaisted, nee Mantych, of O'Fallon, Ill., passed away Sunday morning, September 12, 2010 at St. Elizabeth's Hospital, Belleville.
Beverly was a parishioner at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in O'Fallon. Before her retirement, she worked as a legal secretary in Belleville for over 40 years. Her friends and her family were very special to her. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, and was a good friend to many.
She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Loretta, nee Murphy, Mantych, and her brother Thomas Mantych.
She is survived by her son, T.J. Plaisted and his wife, Jennifer; and her grandchildren whom she dearly loved, Kaitlyn, Ashley, and Tristan, all of Swansea.
Memorial Donations may be made to Christian Home Care Services, Inc., 115 West Randle, Lebanon, IL 62254 or to St. Clare School Endowment Fund, 214 West Third Street, O'Fallon, IL 62269.
Visitation: Friends may call from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at Wolfersberger Funeral Home, 102 W. Washington St., O'Fallon. Visitation will continue at the church Thursday at 8:30 am.
Funeral: Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 am, Thursday, September 16, 2010 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, O'Fallon, Ill. with Msgr. William J. Hitpas presiding. Burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Belleville.
