Bobbie J. Spinks, age 80, of Fairview Heights, Ill., born November 16, 1943 in Defoe, Ky., passed away Thursday, April 11, 2024.

Bobbie moved to the area in 1976 when her late husband Bennie was stationed at Scott AFB. She was a bus monitor for O'Fallon's special needs students and was a constant source of guidance for her bus-kids. She always had a bright smile. Bobbie was a loving sister, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend.

Bobbie was preceded in death by her dear husband Bennie in 2017, daughter Brenda, father Robert Rucker, mother Edith Humphrey, sisters Joyce Gribbins, Sue McQuillen and Patsy Rucker.

Surviving are her son Brian Spinks and daughter Tara Spinks, brother Rev. Carl (Joann) Rucker, sisters Jennie Cook and Maxine (Tom) Hardesty; grandchildren Piper (Blake) Berger, Kristen and Marissa Allgire, Tiffany (Bubba) Smith, Stacie Allgire, Brittany Parker, and Geoffery Allgire; great-grandchildren Sienna Berger, Sky Allgire, Cameron and Chase Polach, Victoria Esparza, Zayden and Raelyn Polach, Mackenzie McCarthy and Maddox Davis, and her very dear friend Tina.
