Bonnie M. Penrod, nee Gillison, age 100, of O'Fallon, Ill., born November 8, 1917 in East St. Louis, Ill. passed away January 1, 2018 in Lebanon, Ill. after a long, blessed life.

She was very involved as a Sunday school teacher and youth leader within her churches through the years: Central Christian Church in O'Fallon, Mascoutah Church of Christ in Mascoutah, and First Christian Church in Nashville, Ill. She loved to sew, crochet, work crossword puzzles, and especially read her Bible.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Adrian Iler, Ferrill Gray, and Glen Penrod, son, Rudy Iler, two grandchildren, Dennis Runyon and Jessica Runyon, and by her parents and siblings.

She leaves behind her 2 daughters, Nancy Runyon of St. Charles, Mo. and Kim (Rick) Frantz of Shiloh, Ill.; 8 grandchildren, Karen (Freddie) Poole, Dee (Jim) Pierce, Connie Iler, Bonnie (Phil) Martinez, Patty (Mike) Timmermeier, Joe (Tonia) Runyon, Leonard (Amy) Runyon, and Meagan (Kody) Border; and 23 great-grandchildren, 25 great-great-grandchildren, and 1 great- great-great-grandchild.

In lieu of flowers or other gifts, memorial donations  are suggested to Central Christian Church or the American Heart Association.

Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m., Thursday, January 4, 2018 and 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., Friday, January 5, 2018 at Wolfersberger Funeral Home, O'Fallon, Ill.

Funeral service: 12 p.m., Friday, January 5, 2018 at the funeral home with interment to follow at Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Ill.
