Bradley Wayne Acker, age 69, born September 8, 1954 in Belleville, Ill., to Norman "Red" and Joan, nee Lambert, Acker, passed away January 1, 2024 at his home in New Baden, Ill.

Brad moved around often as a youngster due to his dad's work. The Acker family settled back in the metro-east and Brad attended SIUE, where he earned his BS and MBA. He was proud of his accomplishment of earning his CPA. He was previously employed for many years at Arcliff Co., in St Louis. He was currently employed as the General Manager for Electromek Diagnostic Systems in Troy, Ill. Brad was a member of the Collinsville Recreation Club; he enjoyed being outdoors and golfing and fishing. Brad was a wonderful Grandpa to Clayton and Charlotte, and he will be missed.

Also surviving are his children Kyle (Jackie) Acker of Redington Shores, Fla., and Kathryn (Matthew) Boyle of Troy; his brother William (Cheryl) Acker and sister Monique (David) Seipp. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Graveside Services will be held at Noon, Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at Shiloh Cemetery, with Pastor Ken Hutchens officiating.
