Brandy Marie Metz, age 39, of Collinsville, born October 1, 1976 in Belleville, Ill., passed away December 25, 2015 at her home, surrounded by people she loved.

Brandy grew up in O'Fallon, attended OTHS, had participated in the Miss O'Fallon contest and played on the softball team. She was a devoted, loving, and supportive mother to her three children. Brandy's energy and tenacity remained steadfast as she fought her illness over the past several months.

She was preceded in death by her father Dennis Frank Metz and her mother Debbie, nee Smith, Farley.

Surviving are her husband Erick Kattenbraker; her children CaSarah Metz, Caylob Haynes & his father Bryan; and Hayden Kattenbraker; her brother Jason (Penny) Metz; nephew Austin, niece Savannah; aunt Diane (Robert) Hill, and an amazing circle of loving friends.

The family kindly requests that flowers and plants not be sent, but any contributions or expressions of sympathy be in the form of monetary donations for the children, payable to "Boxing for Brandy."

Visitation: Friends may call from 4:00 – 8:00 pm, Tuesday, December 29, 2015, at Wolfersberger Funeral Home, O'Fallon.

Funeral: A Graveside Service will be at 4:00 pm, Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery, on Lebanon Road (S. Main Street), in Shiloh, Ill.
