Bruce Arnold, 64, of O'Fallon, IL passed peacefully on October 19, 2025, surrounded by his family.

A devoted member of the community, Bruce spent 38 years taking care of the cars of O'Fallon and the surrounding areas at Bruce's Auto Repair. Prior to opening his own shop, he worked at Western Auto and Distler's Automotive in Shiloh.

A proud supporter of many different corners of the community, Bruce gave his time freely to Shiloh Spurs and the local Ducks Unlimited chapters, as well as the sports and arts programs at OTHS where his children attended. He enjoyed life to the fullest when he had the time, working at his farm, meeting his friends for an afternoon drink, and playing with his dog Cody. He loved having an evening cigar on the patio and watching 'The Green Mile,' 'The Godfather,' and any John Wayne movie on repeat.

Bruce was preceded in death by his father, Alan Arnold. He is survived by his wife, Susan, of O'Fallon; daughter Chelsea Arnold (Alex Altman), son Blake (Sarah) Arnold, and beloved granddaughters Madelyn and Olivia Arnold. He is also survived by his mother Alice Arnold; sister Angela (Steve) Allen, nephew Matthew (Jenny) Arnold and their children Hunter Arnold, and Candyce Paule.

In lieu of flowers and gifts, the family strongly prefers donations made to Barnes Palliative Care/BJC Hospice ( Foundation at Barnes Hospital ) or to American Heart Association . Donations will also be accepted at the funeral home.
