Carol Lee Kiefer, nee Schaepperkoetter, age 79, lifelong resident of Shiloh, born November 10, 1942, died peacefully at home on October 30, 2022.
Carol was a hard worker, often working multiple jobs at once. She had been employed at O'Fallon's Keg, Crate, & Barrel and Prairie Farms. Carol reitred from the Belleville Diocese after 18 years managing the Hincke Home. Carol was a loving mother, who was selfless and found happiness in helping others. Surviving are her daughter Kay (Wallen, Jr.) Good of Shiloh; daughter-in-law Lisa Kiefer of Mascoutah; grandchildren Wallen (Tiffany) Good, III, Jarrod (Jackie) Good, Angelina (Jeremy) Leitschuh, Erin Kiefer and Doris Kiefer; 14 great-grandchildren, her former husband George Kiefer, Sr.; and several beloved nieces and nephews. Also surviving are her siblings Annilene (Robert) Isselhardt, Patricia (Robert) Sugg, Alfred (Penny) Schaepperkoetter, and Edward Schaepperkoetter.
Because of Carol's love of animals, especially dogs, memorial donations are suggested to
