Obituary
Charles A. Fichter, age 79, of O'Fallon, formerly of Sun City, Ariz., born March 20, 1932 in East St. Louis, Ill., passed away April 7, 2011.
Mr. Fichter was a U.S. Army Veteran who served in the Korean War. He was a retired Orthodontist Appliance technician for Dr. Payne in Arizona.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles A. and Doyne M. (nee Wirth) Fichter.
He is survived by his sister, Sandra (Robert) Britt of O'Fallon, brother Michael (Margie) Fichter of Cape Girardeau, Mo., brother Richard Fichter and numerous nieces and nephews.
In honor of Mr. Fichter's life, memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society of Belleville Area, 1301 S. 11th St., Belleville, IL 62220.
All funeral services are private.
