Charles A. “Chuck” White, age 75, of O’Fallon, born December 10, 1950, passed away July 10, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of love, hard work, good stories, and people who were better for knowing him. He was a loving husband and dad who always did his best to take care of his family and be there for the people he cared about.
Chuck grew up in Jennings, Missouri, and those who knew him knew he was dependable, hardworking, and loyal. He spent many years as a truck driver and was respected for the pride he took in his work. He and his wife Cheryl were the original owners of C & C Sports Stop in O’Fallon, where his friendly personality and love for being around people came through.
Chuck loved playing pool and was a familiar face at the Outdoorsman, where he played every day and made plenty of friends along the way. He also enjoyed playing guitar, one of the simple things that brought him joy.
More than anything, Chuck loved his family. He worked hard, made sacrifices, and did what he could to help his family succeed. As a dad, he showed up with his time, support, and encouragement, including coaching and being involved in the lives of his daughters and grandkids. He was also the kind of friend who would help when help was needed.
He is survived by his wife Cheryl, nee Mehochko, White; daughter Stephanie (Levi) Henry, and Sandra White; grandkids Madison Spencer and Joshua McNairy; sisters Sandy White Colvin and JoAnne White Pusczek, brother-in-law Rich (Kay) Mehochko, sister-in-law Nancy Mehochko; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents Alvin and Irene Agatha, nee McMillen, White; and sisters Colleen White Karrasch and Jacqualyn White Mealey; father-in-law Edward Mehochko; mother-in-law Myrtle Mehochko; brothers-in-law Bradley Mehochko, Pete Karrasch, Jerry Mealey, and Ron House; nephews Gregory Mehochko, Ronald Colvin, and niece Dawn Thornton.
Memorial donations are suggested payable to the family and may be accepted at the funeral home.
