Our amazing and loving Christen P. Reinert (nee Hefler) of O'Fallon, Ill., formerly Simsbury, Conn., passed away in her home on Monday, December 19, 2022.

Christen, a.k.a. "Kiki", was a generous, selfless and caring soul to all who crossed paths with her. She had the proud titles of wife, mother and grandmother, and she will be deeply missed by all.

While we may not have her here with us anymore, Christen will be reunited with her grandparents, beloved parents Richard and Thirza Hefler (nee Davenport) and memorable sister Johanna Mills (nee Hefler).

Christen was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in O'Fallon, Ill., as well as a former employee of Faith Lutheran Church's Preschool and the O'Fallon Public Library. She enjoyed reading, cheering on the Cardinals and Blues, visits to Ted Drewes, volunteering in the community and trips to Florida with Ken.

But as anyone who knew her will attest to, her absolute favorite role in the entire world was being mom to her three girls and Kiki to her three grandchildren.

Christen is survived by her devoted husband Ken Reinert, loving children Sarah and Amy Reinert, Laura and Nick Robison and grandchildren Peyton, Everett and Brooks Robison.

The impact she left on everyone is immeasurable, and there will be no replacement for her. We love and miss you, Kiki!

To honor Christen's legacy, we are holding a service for the Celebration of her Life at 11:00 a.m. LOCAL TIME on Thursday, December, 29, 2022 at Faith Lutheran Church, 520 E. US Highway 50, O'Fallon, Ill., with Rev. Candice Wassell officiating. A visitation and reception will follow from 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. in the church fellowship hall. We welcome anyone who knew her to attend and remember her wonderful life.
