Cindy Lou McFadden, age 74, of Swansea, Ill., passed away peacefully on November 14, 2025. Cindy was born on November 8, 1951, to loving parents.

Cindy dedicated her career to language and care, working as a Medical Transcriptionist for many years. Outside of work, her world was filled with creativity, music, and joy. She had a passion for singing and laughing, bringing light and warmth to everyone around her. Cindy was a master of crocheting and other crafts, creating beautiful pieces for her family and friends. She took great pride in her elaborate doll collection and the meticulous creation of custom doll outfits, a testament to her creative spirit and attention to detail.

More than anything, Cindy was devoted to her family & friends. Her spirit and legacy will live on through her children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Clarence Crow and Gladys Guyot, and beloved husband Michael McFadden.

Cindy is survived by her loving children: David Winkeler, Paul (Monica) Winkeler, John (Deann) Winkeler, Theresa Voss, and Stephen (Marie) Winkeler. She also leaves behind eleven cherished grandchildren: Zachary, Holden, Madison, Andrew, Geoffrey, Benjamin, Ryan, Kylie, Tyson, Skylar, & Malcolm, as well as her sister Barbara Bourke.

Visitation will be held from 9 – 11 am, Saturday, November 22, 2025, with a Service to begin at 11 am, at Wolfersberger Funeral Home, 102 W. Washington St., O'Fallon. Pastor Scott Douglas will officiate. Burial will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Shiloh, Ill.
