Clementine Marie Smith, nee Gaido, age 83, recently of Trinity, Fla., long-time resident of O'Fallon, Ill., born May 10, 1939 passed away October 25, 2022.

Clementine was an active parishioner at St. Nicholas Church and participated in Yesterday's Kids, O'Fallon Senior Citizen's Club, and the O'Fallon Grange.  She retired from the O'Fallon Postal Service and loved dogs, gardening, and traveling.

She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Smith, daughter Teresa Graebe, grandson Alexander Graebe, granddaughters Mackenzie White, Brenda Becherer, Shannon (Boch), and Dawn (Boch).

Surviving are children Linda (Gene) Boch of LaGrange, Mo., Donna White of  Ewing, Mo., Barbara (Tim) Peters of Helena, Mont., Michael (Susan) Smith of Ewing, Mo.,  Sandra (Ted) Wemhoener of Quincy, Ill., David Smith of Taylor, Mo., Linda (Mark) Morse of Odessa, Fla., Gerald (Ruth) Waeltz of Staunton, lll.,  and Richard Waeltz of Lebanon, Ill.

She has 33 grandchildren and 49 great-grandchildren.

Visitation: 2 p.m. – 5 p.m., Sunday, October 30, 2022 at Wolfersberger Funeral Home, O'Fallon, Ill. and again at 9:30 a.m., Monday, October 31, 2022 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church.

Mass of Christian Burial: 10:30 a.m., Monday, October 31, 2022 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, 625 St. Nicholas Dr., O'Fallon, Ill. with Rev. Thomas Lugge, presiding. Burial will follow at Keppler's Cemetery in rural O'Fallon.
