Obituary
Dale Sidney Boots, age 79, formerly of O'Fallon, born May 19, 1931 passed away May 27, 2010 in Lebanon, Ill.
Mr. Boots graduated from Lebanon High School, class of 1949. He spent 2 years in the US Army serving in Korea as signaller and in field radio repair. He was a salesman most of his life working in food sales. He enjoyed camping and fishing at Crab Orchard Lake and Lake of the Ozarks. Mr. Boots also belonged to the Belleville Racing Pigeon Club.
Dale was preceded in death by his wife, Ida Mae, nee Gantner, Boots in 1995; his parents Sidney and Marguerite, nee Campe, Boots; and brother-in-law Donald Wehrle.
He is survived by his son, Jeff (Valerie) Boots of O'Fallon, grandchildren Jeffrey (fiancée Kate Sammons) Boots of O'Fallon, Ill. and Jennifer (Jordan) Belfield of Festus, Mo., his sister Marilyn Wehrle and nephew Hal Wehrle, both of Trenton.

Visitation: Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m., Sunday, May 30, 2010 at Wolfersberger Funeral Home, 102 W. Washington St., O'Fallon, Ill.
Funeral Service: 3:00 p.m., Sunday, May 30, 2010 at the funeral home, with Rev. Carrie Frus officiating. Burial will follow at Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Illinois, with US Army rendering military honors.
