Danielle Jacqueline Del Pinto, 23, of Shiloh, Ill., born December 21, 2000, in Belleville, Ill., passed away, May 27, 2024, at Barnes Jewish Hospital after a long battle with pulmonary arterial hypertension.

Danielle attended Shiloh Elementary School, Shiloh Middle School, First Baptist Academy, and O'Fallon High School. She was a basketball player, a cheerleader, and an amazing pickleball player.

Danielle was a kind and generous person. She enjoyed helping people, and especially loved nurturing animals. She had the ability to make people laugh, in any situation. She was a strong person, persevering through the most difficult of circumstances. In the end, she will be helping many people as an organ donor.

Her favorite pass times included playing games, watching movies, and spending time with her family and pets. One of the biggest sources of joy for Danielle was her dog Gumdrop, whom she spoiled.

Danielle is survived by her parents, Michael and Lillian Del Pinto, her brother Brandon Del Pinto, her sisters Angela and Nicole Del Pinto, her dog Gumdrop and her newest rescue, a baby raccoon she named Peppermint.

There will be a private family ceremony for Danielle.
