Darin Douglas Rowe, age 29, of Peoria, Ill., born March 23, 1988 in Champaign, Ill., to Douglas Glen and Michelle Diane, nee Kaiser, Rowe, passed way unexpectedly January 30, 2018 at his home in Peoria, Ill.

Darin graduated from Glenwood High School in Chatham, Ill., where he played hockey and football. He enjoyed spending time in the outdoors, hiking, landscaping, and listening to music. He was currently employed at Hoerr Landscape, Peoria, and had volunteered at his neighborhood food pantry. He was a kind and loving person; he had a big heart and was a loving father to his son. He was a great dad, a hard worker, and was a much-loved son and brother.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather William C. Kaiser; his grandmother Norma Rowe, and his brother Blake Rowe.

Surviving are his parents Douglas and Michelle Rowe of Chatham, Ill.; his sister Mindi Rowe; his son Indigo Rowe; grandmother Rosemary Kaiser of O'Fallon; grandfather Glen (Judy) Rowe of Swansea; and a large extended family of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A private family gathering will be held, and burial will take place at Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Shiloh, Ill.
