David Joe Davis, age 82, resident of Fairland, Okla., formerly of O'Fallon, Ill., born January 12, 1930 in Olmstead, Ill., to Herbert and Jewel, nee Holman, Davis, passed away April 11, 2012, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Mo.

He had served in the Korean War. He retired from the City of O'Fallon, where he had worked as a Civil Engineer for over 20 years. He lived in O'Fallon until 1994.

Dave was preceded in death by his beloved wife, whom he married December 8, 1955, Olleen "Sue," nee McClellan, Davis on June 18, 2008.

David is survived by one son; Michael (Donna) Davis of Broomfield, Colo., one daughter; Kimberly Davis, of Grapevine, Tex., one sister; Carol Barrington, of Olmstead, Ill., two grandchildren, Natalie Davis and Matthew Davis.

Visitation will be from noon to service time Monday, April 16, 2012, at Crain Funeral Home in Ullin, Ill. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Crain Funeral Home, Ullin, Ill. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Pulaski, Ill.
