Dawn was born on September 1, 1967, in East St. Louis, Ill. She graduated from Dupo Community High School in 1985. After moving to Troy, Ill., Dawn began working for Droms Strauss Advisors in St. Louis, Mo.

Dawn is survived by her parents, Ronald and Charlotte Morris of Shelbyville, Tenn., daughter, Sarah L. Presswood of Troy, Ill., her companion, Mike Arnold and daughter Miranda of Highland, Ill., brother and sister-in-Law, Ronald and Laura Morris and their children, Kelsie and Zacharie Morris, of Warrensburg, Mo., her great-niece, Emalynne G. Morris of Warrensburg, Mo., and maternal aunt and uncle, Virgil and Mickey Casey of Dupo, Ill., along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents of Dupo, Ill.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Troy (Illinois) Fire Department or The National Cancer Foundation for Research, and will also be accepted at the funeral home.

Memorial: A Celebration of Life is scheduled for Saturday, November 25, 2017, from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m., at Wolfersberger Funeral Home, 102 W. Washington St.,  O'Fallon, Ill. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Dawn's life.
