Debora D. Daugherty-Henderson, age 54, of O'Fallon, born February 8, 1959, died Friday, October 11, 2013.

Debora grew up in Springfield, Ill., earned her associate degree from SWIC, and was currently employed by Hortica Insurance and Employee Benefits Co., in Edwardsville. Previously, she had worked for State of Illinois Dept. of Corrections and Jackson Hewitt Tax Services. She was a student at SIUE, studying IT and accounting. Debbie was a hard worker and dedicated to her family. She enjoyed reading and listening to music.

She was preceded in death by her father Marvin Day, Sr., mother Cordellia Burris-Goodwin, and step-father Marvin Goodwin.

Surviving are her husband, Carl Henderson of O'Fallon, Ill., whom she married June 4, 2004;
son Virgil Daugherty III, of Springfield, Ill., step-daughter Adina Marie (Ken) Stewart of San Antonio, Texas, step-son Carl Henderson II, of Phoenix, Ariz., brother Marvin Day, Jr., of Springfield, Ill., and sister Sheila Hanson of Cincinnati, Ohio, and a host of other relatives and dear friends.

Visitation: Friends may call after 10:00 a.m., Thursday, October 17, 2013, at Wolfersberger Funeral Home, O'Fallon.

Funeral: Services will begin at Noon, Thursday, October 17, 2013, at the funeral home, with
Rev. Mike Fowler officiating. Procession will depart the funeral home at 1:30 p.m., for burial at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Mo.
