Debbie Yaeger

Debra Ann Yaeger, nee Wuebbels, age 70, currently of Swansea, Ill., former long-time resident of O’Fallon, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Wednesday morning, July 29, 2026. Growing up in Mascoutah as a proud farm girl, Deb was the oldest of five children born to Joseph A. and Lorraine, nee Weber, Wuebbels. As a child, she was energetic and adventurous. This full-of-life personality continued throughout her life, as she loved classic rock and country music, concerts, dancing, yoga, and spending time with family, and being around water and beaches.

She was a dedicated community volunteer, serving on the Board of Directors for O’Fallon Early Childhood Development Foundation and the O’Fallon Veterans Monument Association. She was a longtime member of O’Fallon Rotary Club, O’Fallon Woman’s Club, and was involved with many community events, fundraisers, auctions, and parades.

Deb began working at a local bank at age 17. Following high school graduation, she was a secretary at an investment firm. Through hard work, education, and dedication, she had a long and successful career with Huntleigh Securities; Debbie loved her career and how she positively impacted many individuals while working as their Financial Advisor.

Deb was preceded in death by her husband Leroy “Le” Yaeger; father Joseph Wuebbels, and brother James Wuebbels.

She is survived by her children Jason (Victoria) Kukorola, Chad Kukorola, and Lauren (Zach) Mages; her mother Lorraine Wuebbels; siblings Connie (Ray) Niacaris, Jane Engel, and Mark Wuebbels; beloved grandchildren Mia, Elle, Ava, Lyla, and Lucy, many nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.

Visitation: 4- 8 pm, Monday, August 3, 2026 at Wolfersberger Funeral Home, 102 W. Washington St., O’Fallon, Ill., and again at 10 am, Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at O’Fallon First United Methodist Church, 504 E. Hwy 50, O’Fallon, Ill.

Funeral Service will begin at 11 am, Tuesday, August 4, 2026 at the church, with Pastor Becky Lembke officiating. Wolfersberger Funeral Home, O’Fallon, is serving the family.
