Obituary

Delores "Dee" Kavano, nee Brown, entered eternal sleep on Tuesday October 29, 2013; she was 71 years old.


She was born to the late Burly and Virginia, nee Miller, Brown on July 25, 1942. Delores ran "Dee's Daycare" for several years. She then attended Saint Louis Community College. She was residing at Cedar Ridge Nursing Home in Lebanon Illinois for the past 18 months.


She loved to travel, but hated flying. Among the many places she visited were Maine, Cleveland, Niagara Falls, Toronto, New York and Paris. Delores also enjoyed painting with water colors and drawing with chalks.


Delores is survived by son, Anthony "Tony" Kavano and daughters, Tracy and Susan Kavano. She was the beloved sister of Junita Eaton, Ron (Gene) Brown, Rodney (Pat) Brown, Gerald Brown, William Brown and Vicki Brown, dear Grandmother to Ashley Kavano and Julianna Kavano-Mosley. She was also a cousin, aunt, friend and babysitter to many.


In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made in Delores Kavano's memory to the American Diabetes Association or the National Kidney Foundation.


A Memorial Visitation will be held at Wolfersberger Funeral Home, 102 W. Washington St., O'Fallon, Illinois from 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm Monday, November 4, 2013. A Memorial Service will begin at 6:30pm.
