Dennis Lee Fix, age 74, of O'Fallon, Ill., born August 26, 1947 in Belleville, Ill., died Friday morning, February 11, 2022 at Cedar Ridge Health & Rehab, Lebanon, Ill.

Dennis grew up on the Fix family farm in O'Fallon Township, the fifth of ten children born to Raymond George Fix, Sr., and Mildred D., nee Kueker, Fix. He was an over-the-road truck driver for 47 years. He was always on the go, working various jobs, playing pool or driving the Rotary Wheels van in O'Fallon. Dennis was a good friend to many, always ready to lend a helping hand.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his siblings Marguerite Billups, Lyle Fix, George Fix, and Gerald Fix.

Surviving are his children Denise Rigney, Amy Fix, Dess (Kelly) Fix, and Brian (Ashley) Fix; grandchildren Stosh, Madelyn, Wyatt, Axton, Colton, David, Ashlee, and Cody; and thirteen great-grandchildren. Also surviving are his siblings Darlene Goodwin, Donald Fix, Marlin (Sandy) Fix, Joe Fix, and Cheryl Berry; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will resume after 9 am, Friday, February 18, 2022, at Faith Lutheran Church, 520 E. US Highway 50, O'Fallon.

Funeral: 10 am, Friday, February 18, 2022 at Faith Lutheran Church, O'Fallon, Ill. Burial will follow at Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Ill.
