DeVonne R. Hurn, nee Rambo, age 90, of O'Fallon, born January 2, 1925, died March 5, 2015 at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, Illinois.

DeVonne grew up in Seymour, Indiana, the second of five children of Paul David and Thelma, nee Bell, Rambo.

Mrs. Hurn was a long-time member of O'Fallon First United Methodist Church and the O'Fallon Woman's Club, Inc., where she found many opportunities to participate in community events. She supported her husband's Air Force career by her involvement in the Officers' Wives Club at Scott AFB. She was a loving mother, a devoted grandmother and had enjoyed playing tennis and bridge.

She was preceded in death by her husband Major Raymond H. Hurn, USAF (retired) in 1982.

Surviving are her daughters Michelene R. Smith of Phoenix, Ariz., Nicole Ann (James McCauley) Giles of The Colony, Texas; her two granddaughters Carrie Rotty of St. Louis, and Jennifer (John) Kirkpatrick of The Colony, Texas; and three great-grandchildren Raymond, Rebecca, and Ryan.

Memorial donations are suggested to St. Jude Children's Hospital.

Visitation: Friends may call from 9:30 – 11:00 am, Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at O'Fallon First United Methodist Church, 504 E. Highway 50, O'Fallon, Illinois.

Funeral: A Memorial Service will begin at 11:00 am, Wednesday, March 11, 2015, at the church, with Rev. Ron Dickinson officiating. Private Burial will be later at O'Fallon City Cemetery.
