Diana V. Lewis, nee Stygar, of O'Fallon, Ill., born July 8, 1939 in East St. Louis, Ill., the second of ten children, died July 8, 2018, on  her 79 ^th birthday, at her home.

Diana moved to O'Fallon in 1971. She owned O'Fallon Ceramics in the early 1980's and had received numerous awards for her ceramic designs. She later worked at Grandpa's store in Swansea as a retail clerk. She was devoted to her family and enjoyed cooking dinners for them, doing crafts and puzzles.

She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Dana, nee Young, Stygar; and brothers Joseph, John, and Nicholas.

Surviving are her husband Jasper D. Lewis, whom she married in 1956; her son Jasper "Jay" (Sheryl) Lewis, and grandchildren Andrea and Jason Lewis, all of O'Fallon; brothers Gene Raymond, Chet, Robert, and Michael, all of Calif., sisters Patsy and Nannette, both of Fla.,  and her dear friend Midge Quayle of Belleville.

Memorial donations are suggested to Heartland Hospice and will be accepted at the funeral home.

Memorial Visitation: The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 8:00 pm, Thursday, July 12, 2018 at Wolfersberger Funeral Home, O'Fallon, Ill.

Memorial Service: 7:30 pm, Thursday, July 12, 2018 at the funeral home, with Chaplain Daniel Simonton officiating. Private burial of cremated remains will be at O'Fallon City Cemetery, O'Fallon, Illinois.
