Dolores Rose Jaco, nee Kozikowski, age 80, formerly of Kankakee, Ill., born July 22, 1931 in Detroit, Mich., died Monday, Nov. 14, 2011 at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, Ill. She resided at Lebanon Care Center, Lebanon, Ill. and previously at River Valley Assisted Living Center, Kankakee, Ill.
Dolores loved shopping and lunches with friends. She was a dear and loving mother, a caring and wonderful woman, and will be missed dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents Boleslaw and Sylvestra Kozikowski, who emigrated to the United States in 1908 from Poland; and siblings, Anna, Frances, Stanislawa, Mary, Helen, and Joseph. Dolores was also preceded in death by her husband, Duane Robert Jaco, whom she married in 1953, and a son, Edwin Wayne Jaco.
Surviving are her daughter, Phyllis Marie Jaco of O'Fallon, Ill., daughter-in-law Robin Marie Jaco, (wife of the late Edwin Wayne Jaco); granddaughters Amber Marie Brewer of O'Fallon, Ill., Jackie (Mundo) Andrade, JoLynn (Abel) Michels, and four great-grandchildren Jonathan Brewer, Giovanni and Mario Andrade, and Shawn Michels.

Funeral: A service to celebrate her life will be at 11:00 am, Friday, November 18, 2011 at Clancy-Gernon Funeral Home, Kankakee.
Burial will be at the Aroma Park Cemetery, Aroma Park, Ill.
