Obituary
Donna Lee Knight, nee White, age 45, born May 30, 1963 in Belleville, Ill., passed away Monday morning, May 4, 2009 with her family and friends surrounding her.
Donna graduated from OTHS in 1981 and attended SIUE. She was self-employed as a personal assistant and was a loving and caring mother, sister and dear friend. She was a US Army veteran, serving from 1983 – 1986 as a tactical communication systems operator and expert marksman.
She was preceded in death by her parents Donald Lee White and Claudette, nee Napier, White and her brother Jack.
She is survived by her daughters Sarah Campbell of Caseyville; LeeAnna Knight of Fairview Heights; brothers Scot White of Carlyle; and Mark (Linda) White of Jefferson City, Mo., and her dear friend Toni Ritter of O'Fallon.
Memorial Donations in honor of Ms. Knight are suggested to her family and will be accepted at the funeral home.
Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m., Thursday, May 7, 2009 at Wolfersberger Funeral Home, 102 W. Washington St., O'Fallon.
Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 8, 2009 at the funeral home, with Reverend Beverly Wilkes Null officiating. Military honors will be rendered by US Army and O'Fallon VFW Post 805. Interment of cremated remains will occur at a later date, alongside her parents and brother at O'Fallon City Cemetery.
