Dorothy M. Thierry, age 88, of O'Fallon, Ill., formerly of St. Louis, Mo., born July 28, 1931, the fourth of 11 children to Joseph and Katherine, nee Naber, Mueller, passed away August 16, 2019.

Born and raised in St. Louis, Dorothy and her family were longtime residents of the Gurney Court neighborhood.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter Linda Hansen, and many of her siblings.

She is survived by her husband Leo A. Thierry; sons Richard (partner Debra Kionka) Thierry of O'Fallon, Ill., and Joseph (Sharon) Thierry of O'Fallon, Mo.; grandchildren Nathan Hansen, Alexander and Samantha Thierry, Kristen Smart, Allisan (Dennis) Stephens, Tim Quinn, and Carrie Winn; great-grandchildren Riley Hansen and Leonardo Impellizzeri; her brothers Lester and Vernon Mueller; and sister-in-law Evelyn Vasalinda; and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made to Missouri Botanical Garden , one of Dorothy's favorite places.

Friends and family may gather at 10:00 am, Thursday, August 22, 2019 at Wolfersberger Funeral Home, 102 W. Washington St., O'Fallon, Ill., for a 10:30 am departure.

Funeral: A Graveside Service will be held at 11:15 am, Thursday, August 22, 2019 at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, 2900 Sheridan Road, St. Louis, Mo.
