Edith May Jorn, age 90, lifelong resident of the O'Fallon-Shiloh-Fairview Heights area, born July 16, 1931 in O'Fallon, passed away Friday morning, September 10, 2021 at Cedar Ridge Health and Rehab, in Lebanon, Ill.

Edith grew up in Shiloh and attended Shiloh schools. She had formerly worked at Scott AFB NCO Club, Main Street Market in Washington Park, and Mr. Donut and Sav-Mart in Belleville. She was a former member of O'Fallon Township Senior Citizens group, and enjoyed playing cards and bingo.

She was preceded in death by her parents Waldo and Nigel, nee Cain, Haag; her husband Joseph, who passed away October 11, 1993; and her sister Ella Sabaleski.

Surviving are her four sons David (Melinda) of Bentonville, Ark., Thomas, Timothy, and Joseph, all of Fairview Heights, other family members Molly and Caleb Kuhl & their three sons; and Maggie Gatlin, all of Ark., and several nieces and nephews, and many friends.

Private graveside services will be held at Shiloh Cemetery, Shiloh, Illinois, with Pastors Ron Harris and Jim Deiters officiating.
