Edna E. Tribout
Edna E. Tribout, age 93, of Waterloo, formerly of O'Fallon, born April 4, 1915 in Greenville, Illinois, passed away Monday evening, December 22, 2008 at Memorial Hospital in Belleville. Mrs. Tribout had worked as a self-employed beautician and was a member of Corpus Christi Church in Shiloh. Edna was a great cook; she loved her family and enjoyed playing cards and bingo. Her tradition of cooking chicken & dumplings for Christmas will be carried on by her children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond, whom she married November 11, 1932 and passed away December 9, 1998, her son Donald Tribout, and her parents, her brother Roy Pacatte and grandson-in-law Jim Riebold.
She is survived by her son Lester (Evelyn) Tribout of Rockledge, Fla., daughters June (Leroy) Wagner of Waterloo, Ill., and Lana Greene of Melbourne, Fla.; her grandchildren, Bridgid Riebold, Lynn (Gary) Welzbacher, Mark (Judy) Wagner, Jeff (Linda) Wagner, Matthew (fiance Maria Cleary) Wagner, Donna (Mark) Buist, Angela (Russell) Tewksbury, and Rebecca Tribout; 12 great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren and her sister Helen Schubert of Macon, Georgia.
Memorials in honor of Mrs. Tribout are requested to Corpus Christi Church Building Fund or to Hospice of Southern Illinois, 305 South Illinois Street, Belleville, IL 62220.
Visitation: Friends may call from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m.., Friday, December 26, 2008, at Corpus Christi Church, 206 Rasp Street, Shiloh, Illinois.
Funeral Service: Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 26, 2008 at Corpus Christi Church, with Msgr. James Margason presiding.
Burial will follow at Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Shiloh. A luncheon will be served in the parish hall immediately following the burial.
