Edward A. Berridge, age 64, born Sept. 15, 1956 in Fort Worth, Tex., passed away at his home in O'Fallon, Ill., on March 9, 2021.

Ed enlisted in the US Air Force at age 18, transitioned to the Air Force Reserves, and ultimately retired as Senior Master Sergeant with the Air National Guard after 32 years of service. Ed enjoyed being outdoors and traveling to National Parks in his retirement, in addition to time spent with loved ones.

He was preceded in death by his parents Darrell Dean and Helen Marie, nee Echlund, Berridge; and his wife Gerlinde "Linda" Berridge.

Surviving are his son Darrell Berridge of St. Louis; daughter Mary (Leland) Whiting of Huber Heights, Ohio; grandsons Dax and Tate Whiting; his fiancé Gina Nicholson of O'Fallon; sisters Cheryl Crowe of Tex., Melinda (Terry) Smith of Ala.; and Susie (Jeff) McDonald of Tex.; and many nieces and nephews.
