Eleanor M. Felcyn, age 94, resident of Vienna, Ill., formerly of O'Fallon, Ill., passed away at 7:06 AM on Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at Hillview Health Care Center in Vienna, Ill.

Eleanor was born on April 18, 1918 in Saint Louis, Mo., the daughter of the late Fred and Martha (Budsick) Betker . She married John A. Felcyn June 14, 1943 in Saint Louis and he passed away February 12, 1982.

Mrs. Felcyn worked as a department head of a retail clothing operation at Scott Air Force Base retiring in 1983. She was a member of Saint Clare's Catholic Church in O'Fallon, Ill. and attended Saint Paul Catholic Church in Vienna, Ill. In her spare time she enjoyed golf, bowling, gardening, tennis and enjoyed the outdoors.

She is survived by her son, Keith J. Felcyn of Grantsburg, Ill., two grandchildren, Matthew Felcyn of Metropolis, Ill. and Adam Felcyn of Beverly Hills, Fla., a brother, George and his wife Rita Betker of Saint Louis, Mo., and by several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by two brothers, Joseph and Stanley Betker and by two sisters, Helen and Genevieve Betker.

Per her wishes, cremation rites were accorded.

Memorials are suggested to the charity of the donor's choice.

The Wolfersberger Funeral Home of O'Fallon assisted by the Bailey Funeral Home in Vienna is serving the Felcyn family.

Visitation: Friends may call after 9:00 a.m., Saturday, June 16, 2012 at St. Clare Catholic Church.

Funeral: Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 16, 2012 at the church. Burial of cremated remains will follow at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Shiloh, Ill.
