Eric Alan Beckman, age 53, of Swansea, Ill., born November 3, 1969 in Belleville, Ill., passed away November 26, 2022 following a brief illness.

Eric grew up in O'Fallon and graduated from OTHS. He continued his education and computer training at Vatterott College and worked as a Computer Specialist. Eric was a fan of the St. Louis Blues and was a competitive online gamer.

He was preceded in death by his father Donald Beckman, and his wife Christine.

Survivors include his mother Sharon Beckman; his sister Angela Beckman; his aunts Nancy (Roger) Tomlinson, Fran (Eric) Hershey; and uncle Thomas (Jeri) Waters.

Private family services will be held with Pastor Cathy Wright officiating. Eric will be laid to rest at O'Fallon City Cemetery, O'Fallon, Ill.
