Obituary
Esther Ann Harris, nee Kabureck, age 77, of O'Fallon, born August 30, 1935 in Belleville, Illinois to Charles and Loretta Kabureck, died July 10, 2013.
Esther worked for O'Fallon school system for 43 years. She enjoyed camping, NASCAR racing, bluegrass festivals, her dog Cindy, and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her granddaughter Angela Harris, brothers Norman and Elmer Kabureck and sister Colleen Embrick.
Surviving are her beloved husband William E. Harris, whom she married September 30, 1957; her children Diana (James) Lindsey of Trenton, Ill., Charles (Barbara) Harris of Springhill, Tenn., David (Mary) Harris of Belleville, Ill., Donna Harris of O'Fallon, and Donald (Melanie) Harris of O'Fallon; grandchildren, great-granchildren, nieces, nephews, and sister-in-law Marlene Kabureck.
Memorial donations are suggested to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
Visitation: Friends may call from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 12, 2013, at Wolfersberger Funeral Home, O'Fallon.
Funeral: 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 12, 2013, at the funeral home with Rev. Dr. Martha Thierheimer officiating. Burial will follow at Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, Ill.
