Evelyn "Jeannie" Braden, age 83, of Fairview Heights, Ill., born November 19, 1937, in Bessemer, Ala., passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 20, 2020.

She grew up in Hueytown, Ala., and graduated from Hueytown High School in 1955. She had formerly worked for the Chamber of Commerce in Islamorada, Fla.; and later retired from Defense Mapping Agency Aerospace Center (NGA) in St. Louis. Jeannie was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Key Largo, Fla. One to enjoy a good cup of coffee, Jeannie enjoyed spending time with her family and looked forward to visits from her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Audrey Trenor, and the father of her children Royce Braden; and her beloved Dachshunds, Oscar and Sophie.

She is survived by her children Debra (Michael) Manning of Fairhope, Ala., Charles "Chip" (Heather) Braden of Fairview Heights, Ill.; grandchildren Mikayla (Matt) Peddicord of O'Fallon, and Ryan (Mary) Manning of Roselle, Ill.; great-grandchildren Jackson and Jaden Manning; sister Doris (Don) Morgan of Ocala, Fla., and nephews Donnie Morgan and Rick (Fulvia) Morgan.
