George Klym, age 89, of O'Fallon, Ill. formerly of Fairview Heights, born in Barren Twp., near Sesser, Illinois, passed away Saturday morning, September 19, 2009 at Cedar Ridge Healthcare Center, Lebanon, Illinois, with his faithful daughters at his side.
Mr. Klym was a retired painter and paper hanger, who worked primarily in the St. Louis area. He was a former member of St. Albert the Great Catholic Church for over 40 years and most recently attended St. Nicholas Catholic Church. He was an Army veteran, serving during World War II.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Anne, whom he married September 17, 1949, and who passed away June 25, 2009.
George is survived by his two daughters Agatha Klym and Maryanne Klym, both of O'Fallon, Illinois.

Visitation: Friends may call from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m., Friday, September 25, 2009 at Wolfersberger Funeral Home, 102 W. Washington St., O'Fallon, and from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 26, 2009 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, O'Fallon.
Funeral: Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 26, 2009 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, with Msgr. William Hitpas presiding. Interment will follow at O'Fallon City Cemetery, with graveside military honors.
