Homer Edwin Luttrell, age 82, was born December 20, 1942 in Edgar County, Ill., to Maurice Gene and Beatrice Lilian, nee Wright, Luttrell. He passed away June 26, 2025 at his home in O'Fallon, Ill.

Homer grew up on a farm near Paris, Ill., tending to crops and animals from a young age. He enlisted in the Air Force in 1966 and retired honorably in 1986. His career path led him to residential real estate, working for Strano & Associates. He also owned and operated O'Fallon Gas & Oil on Vine Street for several years. He had formerly attended O'Fallon First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his sons Homer "Andy" Luttrell of Neb., and Alexander Luttrell of Colo.; grandchildren Garrett, Connor, Cathryne, and Max; his sister Joan Cochran, and niece Kara Cochran.

Homer was preceded in death by his wife Lisa Markham Luttrell, his parents, and several siblings, including his sister Marlene Hardwick.

Memorial Services will be scheduled at a late date.
