Hudson Carl Schwarz, aged 24 days, passed away peacefully in his mother's arms on October 20, 2023 at St. Louis Children's Hospital. Hudson was born to Carl and Kaitlyn Schwarz on September 26, 2023. Despite his short time on earth, Hudson touched countless lives and filled them with joy and love.

Born nearly 14 weeks early at only 1 lb, 10 oz, Hudson was a strong fighter. He was often described as wild and feisty. From the day he was born, Hudson found ways to be mischievous by getting out of his swaddle and kicking his nurses and doctors. Even at a young age, he was very opinionated. He enjoyed dancing in his crib, grabbing everything around him, and being held by his mother and father. He always felt at peace in the arms of his family. He was a beautiful baby boy who was immensely loved by all who met him and will be tremendously missed.

The family is forever changed and forever grateful to have spent their short but meaningful time with Hudson. Hudson's parents hope to always honor Hudson and the positive impact he had on their lives.

Hudson's family is especially thankful for the doctors and nurses who cared for him at the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at St. Louis Children's Hospital. Hudson was surrounded by immense amounts of love and care by his medical team. Hudson's family is grateful and humbled by all of the prayers, love, and support received from their family, friends, and coworkers. Hudson will be forever remembered and always loved.

Visitation will be from 4-8 pm, Friday, November 3, 2023 at Wolfersberger Funeral Home, 102 W. Washington St., O'Fallon, Ill.
