Jame't Kim Walsh, nee McFadden (Sandheinrich), age 59, of Mascoutah, Ill., born June 16, 1957 in Belleville, Ill., passed away following a brief illness on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at St. Elizabeth's Hospital, Belleville, Ill.

Jame't was born to Ronald and Judith McFadden and was later adopted by her step-father. Jame't grew up in the metro-east and graduated from O'Fallon Township High School, Class of 1975. Jame't had previously worked at the former Defense Mapping Agency (NGA), Cracker Barrel, and in the county office of the circuit clerk. Most recently, she was employed as a cashier at Hayden Petroleum in Mascoutah. A devoted wife and loving sister, Jame't had a passion for her dogs, a kind and caring heart, and her family and friends were most important to her.

She was preceded in death by her parents James J. Sandheinrich, Sr., Judith, nee Extrom, Sandheinrich, and Ronald L. McFadden; brother James J. Sandheinrich, Jr., nephew Justin R. Hildreth; grandmother A. Pauline Extrom; parents-in-law Edmund Joseph and Juanita Marie Walsh.

Surviving are her husband Michael R. Walsh of Mascoutah, Ill., her siblings Chalice Sandheinrich of Shiloh; Anthony Sandheinrich of O'Fallon; Michelle (Darren) Drake of Boise, Idaho; Christopher Sandheinrich of O'Fallon; Ronald (Celia) McFadden, Robert McFadden, Randy McFadden, Richard (Tina) McFadden, and Ryan McFadden; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and her dog Poncho. She loved all of her nieces and nephews, they called her "May May", and had a special closeness to Rachael Obernuefemann, Jeremy Conder, and Alixandra, Payton, and Johanna Sandheinrich. A special thank you to Jame't's closest and dearest friends for support, friendship, and love shown to Jame't throughout her lifetime.

A gathering to celebrate her life will be from 4:00 – 7:30 pm, Monday, December 26, 2016 at Wolfersberger Funeral Home, 102 W. Washington St., O'Fallon, Ill.
