Janice Louise Querio, nee Klein, age 88, lifelong resident of O'Fallon, Ill., born September 9, 1921, the only child of Louis and Lorraine, nee Seibert, Klein, passed away Sunday, November 1, 2009. Mrs. Querio was a loving mother and grandmother and a devoted, hardworking homemaker. She enjoyed her flower garden and was a talented embroiderer. She was a life-long member of St. Clare of Assisi Roman Catholic Church and faithfully kept the altar and shrines adorned with her homegrown flowers.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Fred C. Querio, who passed away January 2, 1994.
She is survived by her daughter Karen (Maurice) Dulle, of Mascoutah; granddaughters Jennifer (Blaine) Hilmes of Carlyle, Ill., and Dr. Jamie Dulle of Omaha, Neb.; and her great-grandchildren Brittany, Brianne, Brenna, Colin, Jacob, and Annalise; and her grandpuppy, Maggie the pug.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to Omaha Childrens Hospital for Cancer and will be accepted at the funeral home.
Visitation: Friends may call from 5:00 – 8:00 pm, Tuesday, November 3, 2009 at Wolfersberger Funeral Home, 102 West Washington St., O'Fallon.
Funeral: Funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 9:45 am for a Mass of Christian Burial to begin at 10:00 am, Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at St. Clare of Assisi Catholic Church, with Rev. James Deiters presiding. Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Shiloh.
