Jean M. Dormer, age 70, of O'Fallon, Illinois, passed away suddenly Sunday morning, June 11, 2006. Jean was born to Celestine and Ellen (nee Hutton) Post on December 8, 1935, in Shenandoah, Pennsylvania.

She married Ronald A. Dormer on December 16, 1961. She was a loving and supportive wife and mother throughout her husband's lengthy Air Force career. She was a loyal member of Faith Lutheran Church in O'Fallon, and was an active volunteer for the O'Fallon City Food Pantry and Thrivent Financial Activities for Lutherans.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald A. Dormer, CMSgt, USAF, (Retired), her daughters, Karen Dormer of O'Fallon, and Denise (Ron) Dauphin of Smithton; a step-grandchild, Kyle Dauphin; brothers, Thomas Post and Joseph Post; sister, Ruth (Vincent) Bindie, all of Shenandoah, PA; and dearest friends, Sarah & Pete MacLaughlin of O'Fallon, and Geri & Bill Anderson of Kingsford, Michigan.

Mrs. Dormer was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, William Post.

Visitation: Friends may call from 4:00 – 8:00 pm, Tuesday, June 13, 2006 and from 9:00 – 10:00 am, Wednesday, June 14, 2006 at Faith Lutheran Church, 520 E. Highway 50, O'Fallon.

Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 am, Wednesday, June 14, 2006 at Faith Lutheran Church, with Pastor Hubert R. Holm and Pastor Freda Dings officiating.

Interment: Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri
