Jeanette F. Keck, nee Swengross, 89, of O'Fallon, Ill., born August 7, 1933, passed away March 5, 2023 at her home, surrounded by loved ones. Jeanette married the love of her life Carl Keck, Sr.; they were married 56 years and had four children. Jeanette had a zest for life, family and friends. She loved farm life, gardening, and yardwork. She retired from Saint Elizabeth's Hospital, which allowed her more time for fishing and time for her grandchildren. She was known by her nieces and nephews for her famous waffles, and roast beef dinners. She enjoyed canning, playing cards, decorating cakes, sewing, quilting, BINGO and collecting her treasures! Her happiest times were spent with her family and friends. Jeanette loved taking pictures and looking through her photo albums.

She was preceded in her death by her husband, Carl Keck, Sr., her son, Carl "Bobby" Keck, Jr., her sister Margaret "Peggy" Fetzer, and her parents George & Margaret Swengross.

Surviving are her children Kathleen (Ken) Henschke, Michael (Gwen) Keck, Randy Keck, daughter-in-law Rosanne Keck; eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; brother Sonny Swengross; sister Barbara Knewitz; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Memorial Visitation: 4 – 7 pm, Monday, March 13, 2023 at Wolfersberger Funeral Home, O'Fallon, Ill. Burial will be held privately with the family at Keystone Cemetery, St. Jacob, Ill.
